It was my fault.

Yesterday, I bought a Hartz collar for my cat. I adopted my cat a couple of days ago. She’s around 5 or 6 months old. And I didn’t know she was pregnant. It wasn’t even noticeable, she didn’t have any type of symptom or anything like that. So I put the collar on her, and today in the morning I found 6 fetus dead in my garage. My cat aborted all of her babies because of my fault, I feel so bad. I think I could have done something, but I didn’t know. I wasn’t sure. I feel so so so broken right now…

  1. You didn’t know. You trusted a company who portrays its products to be safe for pets. You are a VICTIM, not a perpetrator. THEY are. I feel horrible for what happened to you and everyone posting on this site. It makes me just SICK to hear about these things. Don’t blame yourself. You’re a consumer in the United States of America. We assume our laws and organizations like the U.S.D.A. and F.D.A. protect us and our pets and property. Clearly, Hartz needs a day in court or some serious consequences soon.
