I used Hartz brand flea and tick drops on my 9 year old American Eskimo this past Saturday. By Sunday evening he was acting a bit strange. I talked to my parents and they told me about their cats having an adverse reaction to the Hartz brand collars and both of them almost died. I bathed him to remove as much of the poison as I could, but by Monday his eyes and sinuses were swollen, he is constipated, he eats but then throws up, and now he won’t eat or drink. I called the vet on Tuesday, they said it was an allergic reaction and to give him Benadryl. I have given him the Benadryl and still nothing is getting better. His breathing is worse, so I am taking him to the vet this afternoon. I am hoping they can help him. I will never use this product again. I would back anyone who wants to sue these horrible company’s that a re poisoning our pets.

An update on my American Eskimo. Nemo went back to the vet today. After a heavy dose of prednisone and antibiotics he is doing worse than before. His breathing is still bad, he cannot urinate on his own, he barely eats or drinks unless we feed him by hand because he is too exhausted to get the food and water on his own. He is experiencing severe nerve damage from this product, including wobbly legs and extreme exhaustion. We do not know if he will pull through. Please, let’s get this poison off the shelves!!!

It’s been a little while now, but I was wondering how Nemo is doing… Has he made a full recovery? So sorry about your little guy. Hartz needs to be held responsible! How is this happening?

I wish we knew about HARTZ Flea and tick drops we had 3 dogs that died from using it.
HARTZ FLEA AND TICK DROPS REALLY DO NEED TO RECALLED.
THE FLEA AND TICK DROPS ARE KILLING DOGS, CATS, KITTENS AND PUPPIES THE DROPS REALLY SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE STORES.
HARTZ SHOULD TEST THEIR PRODUCTS A LOT BETTER.
OUR VET CALLED HARTZ AND TOLD THEM ABOUT ALL OF THE ANIMALS THAT THE HARTZ FLEA AND TICK DROPS WHERE AFFECTING AND HARTZ HASNT DONE ANYTHING YET ABOUT IT.
ANYONE THAT HAS HAD TROUBLE WITH HARTZ FLEA AND TICK DROPS DOGS, CATS, KITTENS OR PUPPIES EMAIL ME AT [email protected]
