Last night at 9:00pm I put Sergents flea drops on my dog, and 4 cats. Around midnight I heard some “noises” in the hallway and thought it was the cats playing, then at 2:30 am I woke up to heraing the noise again but, then following it I heard something fall down my stairs. I got up and found my cat Kaymin laying at the bottom of the steps having a sezuire. I thought she fell down the stairs while playing and that was what caused the sezuire. I quickly got a pet carrier and put her in so she could not get hurt any further. I spent all night sitting up with her and watching over my other pets. (none of them seemed to be affected). When the rest of the family I started to retace the steps of the night before. and I was shocked that I finally put 2 and 2 toghter! I quickly told my son to do research and he comfirmed my belief about the flea drops. I quickly got her in the bath tub and washed her down 3 times top to bottom! Then I bathed all the other animals just in case. Kaymin is not having sezuires anymore at the moment but she has strange shake and shiver reaction still. She cannot sit or walk right, I think she has brain damage now. I have got her to take water by dropper and fed her some food by hand. (she wanted both) I guess that is good news. But I am still fresh into this and she may still die. I called my vet and they said I am doing all they would and it is a wait and see time. I am scared I will be putter her down. I hope I do not have to do that, If I have to take care of a brain damaged cat I will. I am just shocked that this is allowed to happen in the first place. This item should be pulled off the market! If anyone can tell me if there is anything else I can do to help my cat please reply!

in the past 3 weeks we have bought our dog, Wilma, a retractable leash. the first one, and yes I said the first one, lasted 2 weeks before the sewing came lose at the clip and off she went! Now imagine our horror as she has aready been the victim of a horrific car accident, and I use the term losely as there was NO way the driver did not see her. But, back to the leash. I let it go thinking “hey everyone has one bad one in a batch. They can’t test them all.” Well turns out they must not test ANY of them because less than 7 days ago we paid yet ANOTHER $20 for another one. One for large dogs of up to 110 pounds even though our Wilma is only 40# and oh I forgot to mention 3 LEGGED!!! Guess what happened with this one? It shedded. Thank God for our neighbor who also has a dog and loaned me a leash to get Wilma home because this leash, for large dogs or 110# was shedded down to 2 thin strings. Now I know my puppy is strong but 110# she’s not, 40# maybe. And she’s only got 3 LEGS!!! I shudder to think what would happen to a dog of the specifications they implied on the package.
We bought from Hartz thinking they were a repretable company but I am rethinking my stand on that matter.
My heart goes out to all of you and your beloved furry family members. I hope they pull through because God loves our furry babies too. God bless you all.

Sorry it took me so long to comment back to all your replys. My cat Kaymin did survive! I bathed her 3 times and forced food down her throat, gave her childrens Benadryl, and gave her fluids sub-q every hour. (I have a IV and fluid still from when my Persian was sick amd was taking care of him at home.) My husband held her for 8 hours straight and we kept her in a warm blanket when not forcing food, fluids, or bathing. It was touch and go the whole time, but she finally came out of it. She is not quite the same though, she is brain damaged you can tell that. But she will now be a indoor only cat and we will never use this product ever again. We only use advantage now and she has had no bad affects on that. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts!
