Sergeants gold squeeze on

I went to Walmart earlier today and bought this product. I came home and used it on my chihuahua PeeWee. About an hour later I noticed he was making a choking sound and running around acting very strange. I Googled the product and found this site, Thank God. After reading a couple of the posts I snatched him up, got him into the bath tub and bathed him thoroughly. He seems to be calming down some now but I will be up with him through the night to make sure he is OK. I am so thankful for this site, it may have saved my best friend.

  1. An update on my littlt friend. This morning he woke me up licking my face and snuggling my neck. I think he is going to be OK. He is still not 100% as he still seems to have some nervous ticks but I think the worst is over.

    You did the right thing by bathing your dog as soon as you noticed a strange behavior. It is important to keep in mind that just like in the human world, dog medication is never 100% allergy free and some dogs may experience an allergic reaction. Some dogs may become agitated due to the unfamiliar sensation they feel once the medication is applied – similar to the feeling humans encounter when applying “Icy Hot”. It is important you call Sergeant’s directly, as they want to gather more information from you in order to further investigate the cause of such a reaction.
